Update on Dean Pees

I wrote on Sunday about Dean Pees, former Kent State head football coach and current Patriots defensive coordinator. Well, Pees and the Patriots parted ways on Monday. Pees, 60, was not under contract after this season and the team is saying he was fired. Pees said he resigned, citing the chance for "other opportunities". Call it a mutual separation. No doubt Pees will land on his feet, somewhere. Maybe back in college.
